About Me.

I am a researcher, educator, and musician currently working at the Bloomberg Center for Government Excellence at Johns Hopkins University. As a researcher, I contribute expertise in qualitative methods and cultural systems to the study and innovation of public sector service design and delivery. While my professional identity is primarily in the applied research space, my background includes teaching, teacher training, nonprofit administration, and music production and performance. My research skills continue to evolve from the classical ethnographic toolkit to include modern methods in digital UX fieldwork, rapid turnaround assessments, and systematic meta-analyses of interdisciplinary qualitative literature.

I hold a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Maryland, an M.S. in Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and I recently completed an Executive Certificate in Innovation and Human-Centered Design at Johns Hopkins University. I speak English (first language), Spanish (bilingual), French (professional), and am conversant in elementary American Sign Language.
